Mateus started at ARARIPE in mid-2022, after working as an intern at the São Paulo State College of Technology (FATEC) in Tatuapé. During his time at university, he was director of the Petroleum Engineering course’s Academic Center, and was responsible for issues related to the course’s curriculum structure, assessments and changes in subjects.

Since joining ARARIPE, Mateus has taken the Initial Intellectual Property Course, the General Intellectual Property Course, the Introduction to the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the Specialized Course on Patent Basics, all offered by the International Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), becoming a Patent Technician at the beginning of 2024.
